AQHA 2019 Mare - HV Smart Chic

2019 AQHA buckskin mare, 15H, located in Elgin, AZ. This is a fancy, easy-going girl with a great attitude and a ton of versatility. Show her one day, trail ride the next, then move your cattle after that. No buck, kick, bite, bolt, rear or funny business. This mare is sweet and well-mannered, and is at the bottom of the herd order. Fine around dogs, cats, chickens, vehicles, bicycles or whatever else you might run into, including wildlife. Rides out alone (see video) or in a group.  She has been shown lightly in local shows and AQHA rookie amateur for the past 2-1/2 years. At a recent small show, she won all her classes. Has been shown in ranch riding, ranch rail, ranch trail, ranch reining and working cow horse as well. Knows her leads and is very close to the flying lead change. Great simple lead change. Is very comfortable around cattle. I’m not a roper, but you can throw a rope off her. She has a naturally level topline, butter-soft jog, slow easy lope, with a nice extended trot and lope. Works gates easily, goes over bridges, drags a log, walks over tarps and logs, throw a tarp or flag over her, all with no problem. Easy to catch out in the pasture (she is my go-to). Stands quietly for the farrier, ties and cross-ties, clips (even ears), loads and unloads like a champ, hauls quietly. Has been on overnight trail rides, navigates rough terrain very well and is careful with her feet. Let her sit for a while (but why would you want to?) and hop right on and she is the same easy horse. Sound and healthy.  No scars, brands or blemishes (other than recent nips from her pasture mates which will go away). She is kept pastured during the day and stalled at night. She is an absolute lovebug and not mareish. Teeth are scheduled (last floated in July 2023), UTD on shots and dewormer and is shod all the way around. 100% sound.
